From Campus to Community: Navigating through AI Innovations.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to redefine the boundaries between academia and industry, bringing both unprecedented opportunities and significant challenges. The symposium “From Campus to Community: Navigating through AI Innovations” explores the pivotal role universities play in ensuring effective integration and utilization of modern AI technologies across various disciplines. As AI rapidly reshapes educational paradigms and industry landscapes, universities must bridge theoretical foundations with practical applications, fostering industry-ready graduates equipped with both the technical expertise (hard skills) and interpersonal competencies (soft skills) essential for navigating dynamic, transdisciplinary, and intercultural environments. This symposium addresses critical strategies for enhancing educational quality, fostering collaboration across cultural and disciplinary boundaries, and preparing professionals for seamless transitions into the AI-driven workforce.

Alignment with PIONEER mission:

  • The connection between AI-driven education and its role in building inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable communities that align with SDG11.
  • Focus on interdisciplinary, intercultural environments for practical solutions to urban challenges.
